a boy, a girl, a peacock, a sandwich, a tree
Yesterday noon, Preston and I went to SL and explored a bit. Whilest driving through a neighborhood right off 4th South, we saw the most peculiar thing sitting on a fence... a GIANT PEACOCK! I was astonished! Preston was less than that, I mean perhaps he was just as confused and bewildered as me, but he kept his cool very nicely. Peacocks don't just fence sit in a west SL neighborhood in early February! They are simply not native to this land.
I chased this peacock around until a girl walking by pointed across the street at three more sitting on lawn chairs....(more peacockish pictures to come)
Before
I picked up Preston for this little trip I decided I would make us a little picnic to enjoy since it had been such a pleasant day.

Prestons very turkey, little veggie sandwich...................my very veggie, no turkey sandwich (:
When it was apparent he was hungry we stopped at a gas station and I bought him a carton of milk, he was puzzled as to why I thought that was enough of to fill him, but then we pulled up to the city building park and while he fed the meter I set up our tiny little picnic. Preston prefers his turkey sandwiches with milk :)
We enjoyed our picnic for a good six minutes or so and left soon after due to the warm, friendly sun deciding he wanted to be warm and friendly somewhere else and the wind not too friendly wind decided to take his place, nonetheless twas s'wonderful!
After our quick lunch we stopped by Paradise Palm and
dear Preston patiently waited for me to pick up and examine every plant, more than once, until I chose this little guy..
Say Hello Mr. Bonsai!
